Use a fair comparison

• Compare the exact model, specification and regional version.
• Use the exchange rate your card or exchange provider will actually apply.
• Enter a net refund after agency fees, only if the purchase qualifies.
• Include destination taxes and any additional baggage or delivery charges.
• Think about the value of a local warranty and the cost of returns.

The estimate applies your card fee to the full purchase, then subtracts the expected refund at the same exchange rate. Refund timing and conversion can change the actual result. It excludes travel costs unless you add them to “other costs.”
